The Beak :
Seulement 3 canons ne sont pas gênés par la fumée du bombardement et peuvent tirer efficacement sur les LVTs qui viennent depuis RB1.
Un LVT brûle sur le thetraedron/wire en X11, ce qui donnera un couvert à un autre LVT qui va débarquer ses passagers en Y11 sur l'hex d'exposed reef (peut être un kill stack ou un SFCP ?).
Au total, 3 LVTs sont détruits (dont 2 épaves en flammes) et un est immobilisé.

One LVT burns on the thetraedron/wire in X11, just to give cover to the LVT which will disembark its passengers in Y11 on the exposed reef (maybe a kill stack or a SFCP?).

RB2 :
Un résultat pas terrible sur cette plage.
Seulement un LVT est détruit par un 75AA depuis the cove.
Tous mes canons sauf un 37L en R30 sont gênés par des +5 de fumée pour des tirs directs sur RB2.
Et bien entendu, ce canon va tirer 12 sur son premier tir !
Les petites misères s'accumulent sur cette plage...

And of course, this gun malfunctions on the first shot !
RB3 :
Le Lt Hawkins 10-3 et ses gars arrivent sur le ponton. Ils essayent de détruire des barbelés et des thetraedron avec leurs DCs mais aucune d'entre elles n'obtient un KIA.
Donc, ils restent sagement dans leur hex de ponton en ruines et ne s'infiltrent pas dans ma défense japonaise.
2 cal.50 avec un 10-2 et un mortier de 81 débarquent sur le ponton depuis un LVT.
L'unique canon qui avait de bonnes chances de l'abattre casse au premier tir comme je l'ai indiqué un peu plus haut.
Le 10-2 est blessé par un tir 8-1 depuis R30 (ce sera sa première blessure d'une longue série).
Les autres canons prennent leur tribut sur les autres LVTs qui avancent.
Je pense que ce sera vraiment difficile pour eux d'atteindre RB3 mais en échange de leur sacrifice, ils laisseront un bon couvert pour la deuxième vague.
J'ai en tout 5 canons (dont 4 ROF3) avec de bonnes LOS sur eux.

Lt Hawkins 10-3 with his boys arrives on the pier. They try to destroy some wire and thetraedron with their DCs but none of them obtain a KIA.
So, they stay on a rubbled pier and don't infiltrate my japanese defense.
2 cal.50 with a 10-2 and a 81 MTR disembark on the pier from a LVT.
The only gun which had a descent shot malfunctions on the first shot as I said before.
The 10-2 is wounded by a 8-1 shot from R30 (his first wound)
The other guns take their toll from advancing LVTs.
I think it will be quiet difficult for them to reach RB3 but they will leave good cover for the second wave.
I have 5 guns (4 ROF3) with good LOS on them.
Two LVT destroyed (with one burning wreck due to a 75AA ) and one shock.
For american Turn 1 :
Total CVP received by the american player = 20 (19 due to bombardment, the last is a 10-0 killed by a sniper).
Total CVP received by the japanese player = 21
